Mike Andrillo

Mike Andrillo

Owner and Head Trainer of Inferno Training Center

In 2009 I began my Amateur career in Mixed Martial Arts. I finished off the Amateur’s by winning a Heavyweight Title for a company called New Breed Fighting. I then became a Professional and fought in organizations called Ring of Combat and Cage Fury. I was coached and trained with guys who went off to be very successful in the UFC. In 2015 I opened up my own gym called Inferno Training Center. I have trained many of fighters in all different combat sports, such as MMA, Kickboxing and Boxing. I have been fortunate enough to have great fighters under me, and had the opportunity to travel all over the Country and even Canada. I’ve cornered two of my fighters in Madison Square Garden, also many of National Championships. I even had one fighter compete in 2024 Olympic Trials. But my biggest achievement as a Coach, is having one of my fighters reach the Ranking of #1 in the USA, at 176 lb Elite Female Division. I am also a personal trainer and train regular people who just wanna get in shape or just learn how to defend themselves. I have been involved in Combat Sports and Personal Training for over 20 years, I consider myself highly Educated in both fields, and truly believe the Inferno Training Center is one of the Best Gyms around and accomplished so much in such a short time.

Jean Baumgardt

Owner of Inferno Training Center

I'm the proud owner of Inferno Training Center, a boxing gym that has been my second home for the past ten years. I also hold my USA Boxing coaching license, which allows me to bring an extra level of knowledge and passion to the sport. When I first came to Inferno, it wasn't to teach, it was to improve my own health. I weighed about 185 pounds at the time, and I started taking HIIT classes to build strength, boost my energy, and take better care of myself. Over time, I lost about 43 pounds, and I experienced firsthand how life-changing fitness can be. Those classes not only transformed my body, but also my confidence and mindset. My journey with Inferno took an unexpected turn when Mike Andrillo offered me the opportunity to co-own the gym, and I knew it was meant to be. My two daughters were boxing at ITC, so I knew it would be a perfect fit to become a family-oriented business. I started teaching HIlT classes about six years ago, open and accessible to all genders and ages, and l've loved every moment of helping people push themselves beyond what they thought possible. Whether someone comes to us to lose weight, improve their fitness, or simply find a stronger version of themselves, I make it my mission to guide them toward their goals. I believe in every person who walks through our doors, and I want them to leave knowing they can become the best version of themselves, inside and outside the gym.

Amateur fighter and trainer at Inferno Training Center

My interest for fighting came about in 2015 when I started training here at ITC. I had my first kickboxing fighting at the age of 17 and continued kickboxing for that year and ended off having 3 amateur kickboxing bouts by the age of 18. My team and I then decided to make the change over to boxing. I enrolled in USA boxing and started to fighting in New York by the age of 18. I kept my beginning journey here in New York until that December when we realized that USA boxing was all over country and open to everyone. We travel all over the U.S. and even went to Canada! I am on pace to reach 60 Amateur fights before I move up the ranks to Profession Boxing. I have several accomplishments in the amateur boxing world. I have been to several national championships placing 1st and 2nd multiple times. I have trained at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs for a month. One of my biggest accomplishments to this date is fighting in the 2024 Olympic Trials. I have worked several years to make it to the Olympic level. I also have been ranked in two different weight classes, 165 lbs and 176 lbs. I have been ranked #1 in the 176 Elite Female weight class. Outside of my amateur boxing career I am a personal trainer to all those who want to learn to box or just get into shape. I have been doing this since I started boxing. I train all ages and genders. I have been training and fighting for 7 years, I consider myself qualified to teach the sport and educate those who show interest. Inferno training center offers a wide variety of training from Boxing, MMA, Kickboxing, and personal physical fitness. We really are an all in one shop!

Amateur fighter and trainer at Inferno Training Center

I began training at ITC when I was about 9 years old in kickboxing and transferred over to boxing after about 2 years. my motivation to come to the gym and train came from wanting to learn how to defend myself, and to become more confident in myself, my passion for boxing grew into wanting more, so when I was 15 years old, I chose to follow my sister‘s footsteps and completed for the first time in Georgia. overtime, I traveled with my team all over the country and even had a chance to fight in Canada being able to experience the world while fighting is something that I appreciate a lot, and now I am an established amateur boxer. I have achieved many accomplishments already while being an amateur boxer I’ve been to a National Championship placing 2nd where I was then ranked #2 in the country for the 176lbs Junior Female weight class (and am hoping to compete in more in the future) one of my biggest achievements as of right now is being able to fight in Madison Square Garden for the championships of the Ring Masters tournament in New York. I worked hard each day and week training for this tournament. I ended up fighting 3 times in the span of only about 5 weeks in order to secure my spot for the Championships. Also, I am a personal trainer for those who are looking to learn how to box or even to just get active. I started to do personal training when I first started to compete at 15 years old, and have about 5 years of experience. I consider myself to be very knowledgeable and qualified to teach those who are interested in learning. I train those of all ages, but I primarily teach children, those with or without disabilities, and strive to create an environment where every person feels seen, valued, and capable of success. I aim to inspire curiosity, build resilience, and empower everyone to believe in their own potential.
